As well as being a mediator Chris is a chartered accountant and a licensed insolvency practitioner. Chris has been appointed to hundreds of companies in his role as insolvency practitioner and has had to frequently deal with disputes between companies and creditors and take action against directors to recover money for creditors.  Chris uses this experience in his mediation work in particular where the case involves claims by insolvency practitioners against directors to get to the heart of the matter and bring about a realistic settlement of the claims. Chris also has a broad range of skills gained from many years of dealing with the fall out following the liquidation of companies, many the result of being unable to resolve commercial disputes.  Like a mediator, the insolvency practitioner has to work with both parties to bring about a solution and Chris has a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
